I sprained my ankle!

Saturday (1/29/16) a 11:30 while at sky high I was jumping for like 2 minutes at a birthday when I started running/jumping to my friends. I tripped and felt the worse pain ever! I was trying to be strong but feeling like I was going to scream and cry all together. I kept trying to act strong my hopping on one leg but it was to tiring. So for an hour all I did was sit and put ice on it and every time I tried to walk. My bone would rub against something and send this horrible pain up to my leg. My mom picked me up eventually for basketball pictures. While it took my mom 1 minute to walk to the gym. It took me forever. My mom offered me help but I want to be strong and get better fast. So I just limped... Took the pictures and then went to get something to make my ankle feel better. I really wanted to go to my game. Even if I can't play I wanted to support the team. So I got some ice cream and pillows for resting my ankle. I'm so proud of my Balboa team that we won the game by a lot (16 to 48)! My coach said to put my foot in cold water to help with the pain and swelling. So for an hour and 30 mins that's what I did. It was so cold! I cried! For the rest of the day and night I just rested.

I also got into the  Honor Role with a GPA of 4.0 and citizenship! So that was Friday.....

  1. I literally feel your pain. Well, I literally felt it. Back when I played basketball in college, I broke my ankle just as we were about to play a major game. I was there and I kind of wished I wasn't. Really hurt to miss out like that. By that time it was several weeks after the initial injury, but I think my therapist was wise to warn my parents against it.
