Scandal (season 1)

For my very first blog I will be talking about my favorite episodes from season one in Scandal. The whole season is about Olivia Pope and her associates as well the President of the United States of America Fitzgeral Grant and his chief of staff Cyrus Beene. This season is practically based on the affair the president had with Amanda and Olivia and the lives of the associates of Olivia (the gladiators in suits). Pope & Associates are fixers they are lawyers but barely ever go to court they have clients and they solve their cases at their office and get their clients out of trouble. The cases that Pope & Associates had in season one was getting back the baby of a Russian Ambassador from kidnappers, as well helping Lieutenant Sully St. James proving he didn't kill his girlfriend but instead meeting up at a bar with his boyfriend. Most of season one was based on Amanda Tanner and her relationship with the White House, she slept with the President and was pregnant with the baby of Billy Chambers she tried killing herself to get attention then decided to tell the world about her and the President. Before she could Billy Chambers told someone to kidnap her and kill her. Another case was proving that a man didn't rape the woman that accused him of raping her, which he didn't he actually raped her friend and she killed herself so Olivia and his mother sent him to jail. Some cases were very hard for Pope & Associates since they don't want to hurt anyone and ruin familys. A South American Dictator came to Olivia for help since his family had been kidnapped, but they actually ran away from him. Another was a plane crashed and the pilot was accused of drinking the night before but really something was wrong with the plane. Pope & Associates are my favorite gladiators in suits I admire them very much even if they are just actors one day I will be as well solving crime and fixing things.
